Article 3 - What are the personal data collected?

PEGGY SAGE collects from you the following personal data in particular:

-         Information relating to payment, concerning your bank card in particular;

-         Your comments;

-         Your IP address, login and browsing data, order history, preferences and centres of interest, and products looked up.

-         For professionals: job, sector of activity, type of company, company name, a copy of information providing evidence of your professional status (copy of identity card, 'KBIS' corporate ID, intra-Community VAT No., SIRET ID No., registration card).

Article 4 - What is the purpose of collecting this data?

PEGGY SAGE collects your data for various purposes:

-         Orders:

PEGGY SAGE collects your personal data to manage all your orders placed on the Site, and in particular to send and track products ordered, manage payments, print invoices and handle any complaints.

PEGGY SAGE may also analyse your data to improve and develop new products and/or services, identify Site usage trends and determine the efficiency of our promotion campaigns.

Moreover, this data will be stored in order to comply with various legal and regulatory obligations, and in particular to enable us to establish proof of a right or a contract.

-         Newsletters:

PEGGY SAGE may use your personal data to send you promotional and commercial offers.

Moreover, you can control the sending of newsletters or prevent such sending, free of charge, via the possibility of refusal mentioned in each newsletter.

-         Sharing on social networks

The Site has sharing tools enabling you to "like" or share a product page on the following social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google + and Pinterest.

PEGGY SAGE also retrieves from the Site photographs that you have posted on Instagram with the hashtag: #peggysage.

By sharing content on these social networks, you subject yourself to their own personal data protection policy which we encourage you to consult in order to complete your information regarding the use of your personal data.

Article 5 - Who are the recipients of the personal data collected?

The personal data collected are intended exclusively for PEGGY SAGE and the subcontractors solicited by the latter to perform services, and in particular for managing financial transactions and sending orders.

In accordance with legal obligations, PEGGY SAGE may also disclose data to third parties when this is necessary to enquire, prevent or take measures concerning illegal activities, presumed fraud, or situations which could be deemed to be potential threats for the physical safety of a person, or if we think, entirely at our discretion, that your use is effectively incompatible with this document or with the general conditions of use of the Site.

Moreover, the personal data may be disclosed to a third party if PEGGY SAGE is forced to do so pursuant to a law, a regulatory provision or an official legal order, or if said disclosure is necessary as part of an enquiry or proceedings on Swiss or French territory or abroad.

You recognize that complete security on the internet does not exist.

For example, access to your customer area which contains your personal data is possible only with an ID and a password. You should not disclose this information or make it available to other people.

In accordance with the federal law on data protection of 19 June 1992, you have a right to access, modify, correct and object to the processing of personal data concerning you.

Your request must be drawn up on a signed document accompanied by the photocopy of an identity document bearing your signature in order to check your identity. Furthermore, your request must specify the address to which the reply should be sent.

Moreover, you can control the sending of newsletters or prevent such sending, free of charge, via the possibility of refusal mentioned in each newsletter.

Article 8 - For what length of time are my data stored?

The data concerning you will be stored throughout the period of the commercial relationship and for the time needed to achieve the purposes described hereabove in Article 4 of this document. After that period, your data will be stored only to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, or else to enable us to establish proof of a right or a contract.

Article 9 – How are my personal data processed by third-party websites?

This document applies only to the pages of the Site by which PEGGY SAGE collects some of your personal data and not to websites owned by third parties.

The Site may contain links to other websites or to functionalities which are not subject to our personal data processing policy and where practices concerning personal data could be different from ours. PEGGY SAGE is not liable for these websites.
